Our real estate market here in Brevard County has been brisk. Good, clean well priced houses are selling quickly. Houses in desirable areas priced under $125,000 – $150,000 are moving off the market quickly. We are seeing multiple offers on many of these properties, with some bidders willing to pay over list price. Often, investors, paying cash are beating out other buyers, that cannot compete.
Rents are on the rise and sharp investors know this. The rental market is becoming stronger, as more families are seeking shelter after a short sale or foreclosure.
According to the Local Market Monitor there are three Florida cities that ranked in their top ten list of places to buy investment properties.
Daytona Beach Florida was ranked in #3 position with a median price of $114,000, with a projected value by 2015 of about $123,382.
Orlando Florida was ranked in the #4 position with a median price of $115,000, with a projected value of $150,491 by 2015.
And Tampa Florida took the # 10 position with a median price of $100,000, with a whooping projected price of $150,271 by 2015.
With 3 Florida cities taking top spots on the list, it’s no surprise that we are seeing investors scooping up attractive deals in today’s market.
Other cities that made the list were: Las Vegas Nevada, Detroit Michigan, Warren Michigan, Bakersfield California, Phoenix Arizona, Atlanta Georgia and Reno Nevada.
