Sam, my daughter and I, headed out to try something different this past week. We wanted to find a place to eat that we hadn’t tried before, so we headed towards Historic Cocoa Village, which is just about 15 minutes North of us in Melbourne. We love Cocoa Village. We arrived early enough so that we could walk through the shops. There are antiques and collectables, arts and crafts, and a gorgeous boardwalk that takes you on a journey along the Indian River Lagoon. It’s absolutely picturesque in Cocoa Village. It’s a place that is reminiscent of days gone by.
We looked at a couple of options to grab a bite to eat, and decided on Ryan’s Village Pub and Pizza. Perhaps it was the music, laughter and the people that were spilling out the doors of Ryan’s. The place was bustling. It looked inviting and the food smelled delicious.
We waited 5 minutes for our table and the hostess was so friendly. She was bubbly, complementary and prompt.
We both opted for a slice of their mouthwatering pizza, as it looked delicious. Sam had the Ryan special, and I stuck with the pepperoni. The pizza tasted even better than it looked. The crust was thin and flavorful. Sam’s pizza had everything on it; the works – all the meats and all the veggies. It was stacked with ingredients. She couldn’t even pick it up with her hands at first. She said it was the best and freshest pizza she had ever had.
The food, the atmosphere and the service were great. The prices were very reasonable too.
