Here in Melbourne and Palm Bay Florida in Brevard County for a couple of months we were faced with horrible fires. We just weren’t getting enough rain to saturate the ground.
But, over the past month we have received very heavy thunderstorms each afternoon, bringing buckets full of rain. Today, we are looking at an 80% chance of rain due to a slow moving storm system hanging over our area. We are also feeling the remnants of Tropical Storm Bertha.
At this time of year, we love the rainfall, as July is typically our dry time, making us suspectible to brush fires.
